"Emma" Naturally Pink Rhodochrosite Earrings

Beautiful banded pink rhodochrosite is an unusual mineral used for making beads and cabochons.  It comes mostly from Argentina, but is the state stone of Colorado.  Originally found in Romania, the name comes from an ancient Greek word for "rose color".  See photo of a slab of the mineral in its natural state.

"Emma" earrings are made from excellent samples of rhodochrosite, all showing the banding patterns.  The little square stones are 0.5" wide and are topped with a white glass pearl.  The stones will be well-matched.  They hang from tarnish resistant silver-plated French wires that are lead and nickel-free.  Also available with sterling silver ear wires.
