Labradorite is one of our favorite colored gemstones! Originally found in Labrador, Canada, it is a variety of feldspar that has an incredible sheen, or "schiller". Enhancing the pendant are oval stones in green Amazonite, another variety of feldspar, and interesting triangles made of pure hematite, an iron mineral; the small round beads forming the chain are mostly labradorite. The style is classy and sophisticated; this is one incredible necklace! Comes in a nice white gift box with ARThouse logo; includes 3" extender chain. Handmade at ARThouse in Maryland; although stones are natural, variation is consistently good.
